The Rosolio family must be in an state of euphoria!!! Texas in the ACC? As there is definitely upheaval in the conference realignment world, perhaps the ACC is now doing the smart thing by being the first to strike. With A&M already leaving the Big 12 and Oklahoma infuriated by the Texas TV network, Swofford might be courting the Longhorns. Adding Texas and probably Texas Tech would simply upgrade the football level of the ACC overnight!!!

Raiders Win 23-20. In the late game Sebastian Janakowski kicked a 63 yard field goal and Darrius Heyward Bey now looks like an NFL receiver. He finished with 4 catches for 45 yards, the last being a game securing 1st down catch with 2 minutes left. Lance ball caught a TD pass from Kyle Orton to close the gap to 3 points. Former Ravens coach Hue Jackson gets his first win  as a head coach.

Sophomore Witmer is clearly developing as the key offensive threat on the team.

Everyone should have a friend like Vinnie Chase. A great series but most say the final season was so so. Turtle, Drama, E and Ari we’ll miss ya. I wonder whay the athletes who appeared were paid. I do know one thingthe golf match between Mark Wahlberg and Drama was pathetic. Wahlberg won the first hole at he Puerto Rican Trump course and shot at least a 10. Drama stopped swinging at 15.

It seems like in the past 5 years, I have been to 20 regular season field hockey games and 3 things repeat themselves

1—- Maryland always wins and usually pretty easily

2— The Terps thoroughly dominant play usually to the point of embarrassment

3— Missy always seems to have the top freshmen in the country on her teams.
