At 41 John Tillman is best up and coming big time lacrosse coach in the land. Navy made overtures to steal him away–Tillman never had any intentions of leaving. Maryland lacrosse is in great hands. Just for your info, John has been on the recruiting trail almost every day since the loss in the NCAA Championship game. Maryland’s rise back to the top of Lacrosse elite continues.
JJ Hardy has certainly been the best Oriole pickup this year. Batting leadoff in place of the ever injured BRob, Hardy went deep on the 2nd pitch of the bottom of the first. Luke and Adam Jones added homers later.
Chris Jakubaukas pitched 5 scoreless innnings in his first start for the O’s.
Jordan Williams has slipped into the upper reaches of the 2nd round according to nbadraft.net. He could be a viable 2nd pick for the Wizards if he lasts that long. Jordan’s skill testing at the NBA combine was disappointing.
