Let there be no question—it’s full scare battle time with NC State.
First, Maryland keeps them out of the ACC Title game as Danny lays a smackdown on them.
Second, the Terps have the Champs Sports Bowl snatched from them by NC State. Coach Tom O’Brien insults Maryland’s fans on a State radio show.
Third, Gary Williams is ridiculously accused of meddling with hire of a State Basketball coach.
Fourth, Maryland supercedes NC State’s hire by NABBING THE HOTTEST COACH … Read More »
Sterling, Best of Luck in Austin. Terp Nation, my gut feel is that Coach Turgeon hasn’t lost much sleep over this loss. How many point guards do we need. Stogs and PeShon have certainly proved their worth as freshmen, and now Turgeon’s first commit is a 2012 point guard, Seth Allen. Remember this Turgeon’s team now–his calls his decisions, relax and let him shape this squad!!!!
There are too many stars today as often is the case when one team thoroughly defeats a higher seeded team. What a joke!!!Curtis Holmes dominated the face offs 15-7—-Niko was brilliant in the nets—The middle today led by Drew Snider’s 4 goals continued its great performance. Veteran goalkeeper Chris Garrity anchored a suffocating defensive effort as the Chesapeake Bayhawks opened defense of their Major League Lacrosse (MLL) title with an impressive 14-10 victory over the Rochester Rattlers in the season opener for both teams on Saturday night before a lively crowd of 7,916 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Garrity enjoyed a terrific 2010 campaign and picked up right where he left off in recording 13 saves to stymie a potent Rochester offense. Garrity got great support from a … Read More »
Anibal Sanchez has never lost to the Washington Nationals. That didn’t change Saturday despite minimal run support. The Florida Marlins pitcher took advantage of Mike Stanton‘s long home run by keeping Washington off the scoreboard, going eight sharp innings for a 1-0 victory.
