Barring an unforseen collapse the Terps have taken care of business winning back to back at home. They are now 7-6 in conference with a monster game at Chapel Hill Sunday night. Pull the upset at Carolina and the Terps float back into the dance. Tough game for FSU without its leader Chris Singleton but the Terps did what they had to. It was great to see Adrian play a pivotal role in the game.

Maryland scored six runs in the third inning off two-run base hits by Korey Wacker, Tim Kiene and Curtis Lazar, Michael Boyden went four strong innings on the mound and Maryland defeated Navy 8-3 Wednesday afternoon at Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium.

The University of Maryland baseball team plays host to Navy in the 2011 home opener on Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium. Maryland, fresh off a four-game series at No. 6 Texas, is opening an eight-game homestand that includes three-game series with Army and Canisius, as well as a single game against Delaware. It will be the first game at Bob “Turtle” Smith Stadium since a number of renovations were completed.
