Kevin Milwood probably pitched his last game for the O’s last night but in a strange way it was a big one.he O’s avoid the dreade 100 loss season. Bravo Buck. Bravo Koji. Oh yes–Koji 14 pitches 9 strikes in his closer’s role last night. Felix Pie delivered a clutch 2 out 2 run triple to win the game for the O’s.
What Can I say? Sometimes you just have to listen to your kids. My son made me go see Marc Cohn last nght and yes he was superb. Everyone knows Walkin in Memphis and True Companion but the 51 year old troubador just can make anything sound great Here is his setlist last night.

Memo IMG_0043A few weeks ago the upstart Euro , Rory McElroy claimed he wanted a piece of Tiger in the Ryder Cup. Tiger responded last night with a “me,too ” comment about facing Rory. McElroy immediately began doing a backstep from his big mouth. Coach Williams predicted a great Ryder Cup for Tiger a few weeks ago on Terp Talk.
Someone explain to me why these Sun Belt Cities are thought of as great sports towns. Tampa can’t even sellout a game against the Steelers!!!
