There are 30 picks in the 1st round of the NBA draft. All 1st round picks get guaranteed contracts. Greivis, the Best Point Guard in College Basketball,is currently being placed at 33rd to Sacramento. I still believe the Wizards will take Greivis at #30. The O’s must finish 72-57 to finish at .500 for the year.

I hope that the fans who braved insane Baseball weather —45 degrees and rain –will be allowed to use tonight’s tickets for another game. It is insane that this game wasn’t canceled.

Now that the O’s have been relegated to B status on Masn –could somebody tell me what HD channel the O’s can be found on Verizon. I don’t have the patience to look through 900 channels … Read More »

Please inform Mr Prokhorov that  I am willing to do Brooklyn Nets Talk on the Fan.

13.4 Billion–Wouldn’t you think he could find a better team to buy then the 12-70 Nets. The first move he plans to make is to extend GM Rod Thorn’s contract. Then he will move the team to Brooklyn. Enough said.

Oh what could have been if

1– The ref sees Izzo’s timeout signal.

2– The MSU player doesn’t duck

3–If it’s 75% of the time and the shot doesn’t fall in

4– If Greivis had 5 seconds left

OH well—I promise that’s my last say on the Shot.

By the way this is a battle you win by having the worst record in the Major Leagues. The Orioles are 9-23 and would need to go 72-58 to finish the season at 500. I doubt it.

Many of my readers scoff at the NBA. Don’t miss this series. This is not your old Phoenix team. Grant Hill has emerged as a defensive force and will take on Kobe.  Gasol and Stoudamire should be a great battle. Derek Fisher is super but let’s face Nash is Nash and if his right eye heals he is currently unstoppable. Bynum and Odum provide the Lakers with unmatchable size but Jason Richardson and Leandro Barbosa are creators and finishers.  Goran … Read More »

If you listened to me on the air this week, I was very critical of the ride jockey Garrett Gomez gave LOOKIN AT LUCKY at the Derby. Sure enough Bob Baffert informed the press he was removing GoGo from riding his horse in the Preakness.

The Spurs are Gone Fishing after getting swept by Phoenix. One eyed Steve Nash played a brilliant floor game after being accidentally elbowed in the eye by Tim Duncan.   Jason Richardson was extremely effective … Read More »
