Let’s not panic!! The Terrapin Men’s Soccer Team thoorughly outplayed the Bruins Friday night but were unable to convert on about 6 excellent scoring opportunities in the 1st half. Although I will never figure out why the Terrapins are 3 touchdown underdogs, all logic points points to a Cal win Saturday night. Revenge from last year, the cross country trip for Maryland, Jahvid Best gunning for the Terps, the way Riley performed last year, the fact that the Terrapin off and def lines are so much in flux—it seems like a easy Cal victory.

The Ole Ball Coach (Steve Spurrier ) took his Gamecocks into NC State and sqeaked by witha 7-3 victory. The ACC needs to win a few of these big intraconference games. So yes, I will root for the Hokies to upend Bama on Saturday! Of course a Terrapin win over BCS contender Cal would cap that day off.
For College soccer fans, it doesn’t get much better then this. The 4-0 Lady Terrapins take on Santa Clara at 5 PM tonight to be followed by the Defending NCAA Champion Men’s Team , #1 in the nation, playing against #19 UCLA. On the show, I predicted the blossoming of a future superstar, Casey Townsend. watch him #7 tonight.
