    Certainly Brenda’s troops should be ready for a tough road game as they already have had 5 or 6 before the start of the real (ACC) season.             After shooting 25% in the 1st half, the Terrapins led by 3 point shooting from Eric Hayes stormed back to a 68-61 victory over Georgia Tech to open its ACC season. Greivis,  despite an off shooting night, still scored 16 points with 6 assists. Once again Sean Mosley played inspired basketball scoring 10 points, taking 3 charges and playing excellent defense. williams-morgan-state  When your starting guards go 6-28, it’s pretty tough to win, but let’s give credit to the Morgan State Bears for coming into Comcast and upsetting the Terrapins. Dave Neal led the way for Maryland with 18 points. Sharpshooter Reggie Holmes scored 25 for Morgan, nailing big shot after big shot. Maryland ends it non conference part of the schedule a respectable 12-3. Georgia Tech comes into Comcast on Saturday at noon. The real season begins!!!!

Due to the BCS Championship Game being played on ESPN 1300 on Thursday, Terp Talk moves to Friday at 6PM this week only.
