What a great day to be a Terp!!! Kristi Tolliver controlled the tempo of the game furthering the claim that she is the #1 point guard in the country.  Crystal Langhorne scored 25 on 11-15 shooting from the field.  The #4 rated Terps move to 27-2 and 11-1 in the ACC.  But the big news of the day was the much anticipated birth of 2 new Terps, Brenda Frese’s twin boys Tyler and Marcus.

In a breakout game, Sophomore Landon Milbourne scored a career high 18 points, including an ESPN highlight reel dunk leading the Terps to victory Saturday afternoon at Comcast. landon-fsu.WMA  Gary was especially pleased after this game as was reflected at his press conference here on audio.  gary-after-fsu.WMA  Greivis again chipped in with a stellar performance with 20 points and 8 assists.  Eric Hayes commented on the increased pressure defense he has been receiving in the locker … Read More »

fsu-prediction.WMA   As we get down to crunch time, today as well as all 3 remaining home games present must win situations for the Terps.  A 10-6 Conference record will virtually assure the Terps of both a win and good seeding in the big dance.  The bench must start scoring—Osby , Gist , and Greivis cannot have great games every time they play!  Beware of Toney Douglas and the red hot Jason Rich for FSU today.  Check out the … Read More »

Funny, I was not upset after the game tonight.  When Hayes shoots 1-7 and Gist 3-10 there is no way the Terps could have won.  That being said, Greivis again played a terrific game and Osby was a force inside  but Greg Paulus has come of age.  Along with Freshman sensation Kyle Singler the Devils shot lights out and continued undefeated in the ACC.  But if at 57-55, Dave Neal or Eric’s shots fall –it’s a different game.  Look … Read More »

As predicted here on Terp Talk,  the Terrapins won another squeaker on the road at Chesnut Hill defeating Boston College and thus avenging the home loss suffered earlier in the year.  It is really a shame that the game was only on ESPNU and so many Marylanders missed watching a great Terp performance!!!! Greivis Vasquez was simply perfect–scoring 25 points and dishing out 8 assists in perhaps his finest effort as a Terp.  Gary moved a step closer to the … Read More »
