    Monday night at Rutgers in the Jimmy V Classic, #4 Rutgers stormed from behind in the 2nd half to overtake the Lady Terps.  The Terps suffered their first loss of the season,  shooting only 21% from the field in the 2nd half.  Men’s Soccer suffered a crushing 3-2 overtime loss to Bradley in a sweet 16 game at College Park last Saturday night.   Leading 2-0 on goals by Rodney Wallace and Omar Gonzales, Bradley rallied to score 2 … Read More »

    Open up the Golden Gate, here come the Terrapins.  On Friday December 28th , at 8:30 EST, the Terrapins will face Oregon State (8-4) of the PAC 10 Conference at AT&T Park (home of the Giants), with the game being televised nationally on ESPN.  Maryland has over 5000 alumni in LA and San Francisco, so AT&T will be certainly have its share of Red sections.

     The Verizon Center continues to be an unlucky venue for the Terps as VCU led by Senior guards, Jamal Shuler and Eric Maynor defeated the Terps 85-76 on Sunday night.  Bambale Osby turned in perhaps his best performance as a Terp with 17 points and 10 rebounds.  VCU employed the full court press the entire game , took the lead early in the 2nd half, and held on for the win.  The Terps are now 5-3 with Morgan … Read More »

    Eric Hayes continues to turn up his game , scoring 18, with 4 three pointers, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals in a brilliant 37 minute performance.  His running mate Greivis struggled with a 2-14 shooting night, yet still contributed 10 assists and 7 rebounds.  Braxton Dupree continues to impress with 10 points and 5 rebounds in a 18 minute performance.  All in all a big win for the Terps–next up the Duke killer–VCU at the Verizon Center … Read More »
