Sophomore Bruno Fernando secured his 11th double-double of the season as the No. 13 Maryland men’s basketball team fell to No. 6 Michigan State 69-55 Monday night at the Breslin Center.
Cassius Winston and Kenny Goins scored 14 points each to help the Spartans snap the Terps’ (16-4, 7-2) seven-game win streak in a battle for first place in the conference.

Sunday Schedule:
11 AM – 1PM watched Tottenham without Harry Kane (out for 6-8 weeks w groin injury) defeat Fulham 2-1 in a darby on a last second goal by Harry Winks. The Spurs remain in 3rd place in the Premier League.
Then I watched the Lady Terps defeat Penn State 79-67 behind 23 points from Sharpshooter (5 treys) Taylor Mikesell

Some observations of Terps win at 1:15 in the morning:
Cowan performed his magic once again in the 2nd half–he finished with 21 points6 rebounds and 3 assists.
Ricky Lindo was the unsung hero grabbing 9 rebounds, guarding Ethan Happ, though not scoring. Terps would not have won this game without Lindo as Bruno only played 21 minutes due to foul trouble.
