It has been rumored for a while that the Wizards were looking to trade center Marcin Gortat, well, it finally happened. As first reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Wizards will send the Polish Hammer to the LA Clippers in exchange for combo guard Austin Rivers.
This certainly raises more questions than it answers for the Wizards, but looks like a decent trade for the Wizards, we will have more reaction in the coming days.
Damon Evans is introduced as the new Maryland athletic director by: University President Wallace Loh, James Clark School of Engineering Dean Darryll Pines and Field hockey coach Missy Meharg.

The University of Maryland has named Damon Evans as Athletic Director of the Maryland Terrapins. Evans, who joined the university in December 2014 and most recently served as Executive Athletic Director and Chief Financial Officer, has led the Terrapins to excel both on and off the field.
