How can your fairly evaluate what is going on with Maryland hoops?

Excitement – for the overall fan base, excitement is low.  At Xfinity Center, there are a lot of empty seats.  Ticket re-sale value is very low.

Future – faith in the ability to put a team together is low.  Turnovers, lack of a set offense and toughness are not hallmarks.  So the impact of a highly rated recruiting class is not as impactful as … Read More »

Here’s what Spurs coach Gregg Popovich had to say about the LaVar Ball-Luke Walton situation: “Whenever anyone says anything about another individual or about the quality of another individual, or what they’re doing, I think the first thing to look at is the substance and gravitas of the source that speaks. Just stopping at that point would tell you that you don’t need to … Read More »

Turgeon’s Post Game Presser

http://www.ohiostatebuckeyes.com/collegesportslive/?media=568825

Turge now faces a huge challenge for the rest of the year. But the Terps are 3-3 in conference. Remaing home games are with Minnesota who also has lost key contributors, Rutgers whose future looks bright, Wisconsin–a total … Read More »

The Baltimore Ravens haven’t drafted a quarterback in the first five rounds since selecting Joe Flacco in the first round 10 years ago.

That streak might be coming to an end this year with a deep quarterback class.

The Ravens are expected to discuss taking a quarterback, perhaps a future starter, to develop behind Flacco. The timing seems right considering Flacco turns 33 later this month and has dealt with serious injuries the past two … Read More »

Alabama defeats Georgia 26-23 in OT behind Freshman QB—More exciting then any NFL Playoff Game.  It’s amazing to me that a 19 year old Freshman QB can hit a deep receiver in stride for a winning TD pass. “In stride” No explanation needed. Byu the way the QB had zero significant plays for Alabama all year. 6th National Title for Saban.

Now Lavar Ball is taking aim at ruining Lonzo’s career with the Lakers. After saying Luke Walton had lost … Read More »
