The Maryland men’s soccer team was eliminated from the NCAA Tournament Thursday night as Albany won a penalty kick shout out after 110 minutes of scoreless play at Ludwig Field.

The Terrapins (10-5-4) dominated the majority of play, but could not overcome a stingy Great Danes (14-4-3) defense. Brynjar Steinborsson made the winning spot kick for Albany.
