The Terps, who have returned to their early season form since back to back losses to Notre Dame and Villanova, ended the Nittany Lions’ win streak at 10 and their perch atop the polls at just one week. Honoring their senior class, the Terrapins posted a 15-11 win improving to 7-2 and 2-0 … Read More »

Showdown between Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia was absolutely spellbinding. It was easy to see the crowd’s desire to see Sergio win. Being that Fowler, Spieth, and Hoffman faltered–the crowd got behind the guy who had never one a major and rooted him home. This was not the Ryder Cup.  Now it’s time for Westwood and Rickie to end the major jinx.

When asked the next day to explain Ballesteros’ influence on his career, the bright-eyed, peach-fuzzed Garcia … Read More »

Some nights when you’re the best team in the country, you don’t have to play your best game to win – even when the opponent is the 18th ranked team. This was the case for Maryland’s women’s lacrosse team Wednesday night. The Terps left their ‘A’ game at the Field Hockey and Lacrosse Complex in College Park but put together two major runs and managed to leave Klockner Stadium in Charlottesville with a 16-11 win over … Read More »
