–  D.J. Durkin, one of the brightest young coaching minds in college football, was named the 36th head football coach in Maryland history, Director of Athletics Kevin Anderson announced Wednesday.

Just a few random comments on valiant effort at the Dean Dome

Anyway Carolina was pretty darn good Tuesday night, creating disruption on the Terrapin offensive side, and shooting lights out. Marcus Paige was spectacular. No way whatsoever the Heels win this game without Paige.

Melo was better however. #1 he could not get a call driving though I was not surprised. 23 points on 8-14 including 4-5 from the trey line and count em 12 assists
