This was my 2nd trip to Levi Stadium in Santa Clara–not San Francisco. Trip #1 was Randy Edsall’s last Bowl Game as a Terrapin Coach before a half filled stadium vs Stanford.
This time it was to view the 1-4 Ravens vs the 1-4 49ers. The teams were 3 years removed from the Super Showdown won by the Ravens. This was not a game on that level.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – For the second time this season, Penn State will visit an NFL venue, as the Nittany Lions meet Maryland Saturday in the Baltimore Ravens’ M&T Bank Stadium for a 3:30 p.m. game on ESPN. It is the 39th meeting between the teams, but just the second as Big Ten members.

Fifth-year senior Welma Luus of the seventh-ranked Maryland field hockey team (13-3, 6-0 Big Ten) picked up her first career hat trick to lead the Terrapins past Rutgers (6-9, 0-7), 4-0, Sunday in Piscataway, N.J.
The Terrapins scored all four goals in the first half. With Sunday’s victory, Maryland has won 11 straight games since mid-September and has three straight shutouts over the last week and a half.
The Maryland men’s golf team currently leads the field by two strokes after the first round of the Maryland Terrapin Invitational Monday at Woodmont Country Club’s North Course.
The Terrapins are four-over as a team with a score of 292 after the first round of 18. Freshman Timothy Colanta is tied for fourth and leads Maryland with his one-under score of 71.

Torrey Smith (3 catches for 96 yards) and Anquan (5 catches for 102 yards)had to have been waiting for this game. Both players never wanted to leave the Ravens and both put the victory in 49er hands.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland men’s and women’s basketball programs officially kicked off the 2015-16 basketball season with Magic Maryland Madness Saturday night at the XFINITY Center.
Staying true to the Magic theme, fans were treated to a show by magician J.P. Wilson to start the event. Both squads were introduced with a backdrop of smoke, lights and special effects on a magic crystal ball.
