The front office had a busy Saturday afternoon where it cut 15 players, placed one on injured reserve and traded another. General Manager Ozzie Newsome made 22 moves over the last two days to set his roster by Saturday’s 4 p.m. deadline.
The Ravens released the following players Saturday:

– OL Jah Reid
– WR Jeremy Butler

Maryland freshman Amar Sejdic was named the Big Ten Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Sejdic, a midfielder from Louisville, Ky., scored the first two goals in a 4-0 rout of St. John’s on Sunday in the adidas/IU Credit Union Classic in Bloomington, Ind.
The rookie also started and played valuable minutes in Maryland’s scoreless draw against No. 4 Notre Dame on Friday.
