When the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Tournament bracket was released at the beginning of May, it’s likely that Maryland fans circled May, 23rd on their calendars with either relish or angst. The Big Ten announced all-conference and postseason baseball honors Tuesday afternoon. Although Maryland failed to claim any individual awards and placed no one on the All-Freshman team, two Terrapins were named to the first team with one making the second team and one on the third team. Each all-conference team consists of one player for each position (except pitcher) and a designated hitter. Each team also includes three starting pitchers and one relief pitcher.
