My take—Entirely different team showed up today at Byrd. The Terps actually scored 8 goals in the first 10 minutes but 4 of them were called back due to crease violations and interference. Rambo was special day scoring 3 and assisting on 2. Dylan Maltz also chimed in with 4 points. Jon Garino was 14-8 at the X. Terps won groundballs 36-22 but still had 22 turnovers.

Without a question this is the biggest game the Terps have played since Senior night for Greivis. Lots to prove to the nation and the NCAA Committee.

Things to watch today:
Can Charlie Raffa right the face off ship. In the first 2 games the All American is 9-14 on draws
Can the offense get to double digits in goals?
Will Coach Tillman shake up the midfield lines looking for the right combo?
The Terps dropped to #10 in the weekly inside lacrosse poll
From start to finish, it was a memorable night for No. 5 Maryland.
The Terrapins scored the first 10 points against Penn State and never trailed in a 65-34 rout Monday.
Afterward, the team was presented a sparkling trophy for winning the Big Ten regular-season title.
It doesn’t get much better than that.
“I’m really, really proud of this group,” coach Brenda Frese said. “Going into this season there were a lot of unknowns — young team, new conference. To … Read More »
