Here is a simple stat–Melo had 26 points on but 9 shots—his line 7-9 from the field including the 2 huge treys, 10-11 from the foul line, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 turnovers in 37 minutes. Maryland made a change at defensive coordinator on Thursday, replacing Brian Stewart and promoting inside linebackers coach Keith Dudzinski.
The Terrapins and Stewart “mutually agreed to part ways,” according to a statement from the school. Stewart, who spent the past three seasons as the team’s defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach, will not be retained in a different role.
