My comments—The Terps are vastly superior to this Spartan team but give Sparty credit, MSU hung in to the end.

Fueled by five players in double-digit scoring, the No. 5 Maryland women’s basketball team edged past Michigan State, 75-69, at the Breslin Center Monday evening. The Terrapins extended their win streak to 17 games and remain unbeaten in Big Ten play.

Brionna Jones scored 17 points to lead the Terrapins while Laurin Mincy and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough added 15. Lexie Brown … Read More »

The Maryland baseball team completed a perfect weekend at the Caravelle Resort Tournament with wins over Canisius and Old Dominion Saturday at Spring Brooks Stadium.

Nick Cieri was a standout throughout the day, totaling four hits, two runs scored and five RBIs. Junior LaMonte Wade had three RBIs against Old Dominion to help the Terps (3-0, 0-0 Big Ten) win a rematch of game one of last year’s NCAA Regional.

The Terps are now 21-5 and 9-4 in the Big Ten—not too shabby

Tonight it was the Dez and Melo show combining for 42 points on 11-16 shooting and 19-19 on foul shots.

All in all any win on the road for Maryland is a great win and now the Terps will prepare for Nebraska next Thursday night at Xfinity

Maryland’s defense totally stifled Navy, however some missed open nets in the 1st half did’t help.

Matt Rambo returned from suspension and had a strong 2 goal 1 assist game.

Henry West and Joe loCasio each scored twice.
