The University of Maryland today officially unveiled the vision for a dynamic academic, research and athletic facility in Cole Field House. Just a few thoughts:
Yes the defense played well, but conversely the offense had trouble with the Zone. Melo, Nickens, Dion, and Pack shot a combined 10-30. To Turgeon’s credit, he made some solid adjustments at halftime as the Terps played a much better 2nd half. But expect to see Herb Sendek (Arizona State) play lots of zone on Monday.
Another strong energy game for Jake Layman. He was 5-6 from the field and scored 12.
