 National Player of the Year candidate Alyssa Thomas scored 22 points with seven rebounds to help No. 9 Maryland handle Clemson, 95-43, Sunday afternoon in the Terrapins’ annual Play 4 Kay pink game for breast cancer awareness.

Amazing how a game changes when moving to your home court. 

Strengths

Turgeon had the team extremely well prepared tonight

Seth Allen was incredible today—11=15 from the field, 7 treys on 10 attempts, 4 rebounds and 2 assists

The press early on really took FSU out of its comfort level–which they really never got into

Dez played the pivot against the zone and was able to dish to his shooters to the tune of 6 assists–a classic point forward game

The Terps were ready to play today. The long anticipated debut of the #1 recruit in the country Matt Rambo was extremely successful. Rambo scored 4 goals with  assists and displayed an extremely high lacrosse IQ. Because of some nagging injuries to Colin Heacock and Tim Rotanz, Sr Mike Chanenchuck started on attack with Jay Carlson and Rambo. The trio produced a 10 goal  3 assist effort.
