Amazing how 1 play completely turned the tide against the Tigers. The blocked FG when Towson was about to take a 10-7 lead in the 2nd quarter just stopped the Tigers cold for the rest of the day. Still, what a tremendous season for Rob Ambrose and Towson.

• Tech learned this week that Robert Carter, Jr., will be sidelined indefinitely after sustaining a tear of the meniscus in his left knee during the Yellow Jackets’ game at Charlotte last Sunday. An MRI taken Tuesday revealed the tear, and Carter, Jr., will underog surgery next Tuesday (Jan. 7).

Sophomore Schillo Tshuma and senior Patrick Mullins officially began their professional playing careers Thursday by signing contracts with Major League Soccer.

Tshuma was one of four players to garner a coveted Generation adidas contract while Mullins inked an early MLS contract.
