WASHINGTON, D.C. – One day away from the 2013 Military Bowl, the Maryland football team joined Marshall for the Military Bowl Luncheon on Thursday afternoon from the Renaissance Washington D.C.
With the two teams present, the bowl honored Medal of Honor recipient Hershel “Woody” Williams, before head coach Randy Edsall and quarterback C.J. Brown participated in a question-and-answer session in the Renaissance Ballroom.

Let us all not forget the Terps are 7-5 and have earned the right for a trip to the Military Bowl. These few weeks waiting for the game are finally over. I am tired of all the surrounding stories. At the end of the day it’s about the game and finally it is here. 35,000 fans will be there and probably 90% will be Terps fans. Let ‘s get it on.
To any football, baseball, basketball, etc player, it is inconceivable to believe that playing with that knee brace that Joe wore was not a major factor in his erratic performance last Sunday against the Patriots. It just seemed like he was in physical and mental confusion adjusting to the brace and the condition of his knee.
