Multiple sources have told Inside Lacrosse that Johns Hopkins will announce Monday at a press conference its intentions to join the Big Ten as an affiliate member in men’s and women’s lacrosse. By extension, the announcement keys the formation of Big Ten men’s and women’s lacrosse as league-sponsored sports for the first time.

Midfielder Jordan Hall scored with 1:55 elapsed in overtime to lift the Hamilton Nationals to a 12-11 victory over the Chesapeake Bayhawks on Saturday night at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
Hall took a pass from attackman Joe Walters and fired a 10-yard shot past goalkeeper Kip Turner to put an end to a back-and-forth affair that featured 11 ties.
“(Hall) shot it with a sidearm release off one of our defenders so I didn’t track it real well,” said Turner, who finished with 11 saves.
