I was at the Ravens game with Stan the day Heap was injured against Pittsburgh. Remember that’s the game Joey Porter cheap shotted him. Anyway, we heard it was a high ankle sprain. Stan told me that’s one of the worst injuries to recover from. Todd Heap was never the same. I hope Blake Griffin has a better healing process.
My gut feeling is Strasburg isn’t very physically or mentally tough. Though he has tremendous ability and talent I don’t think he’ll be an effective pitcher over the long haul. I see him pitching 3 years and losing it for whatever reason– physical and or mental. Hope I’m wrong because he has rare talent.
