Some comments on today’s game

The loss of PeShon for tonight is a devastating blow. His game has picked up layely and I do believe he would have seen his most playing time in a while taking on the responsibility of guarding his good buddy Quinn Cook.

Our opponent today is ranked #2 in the nation–therefore it is a big game. Maryland needs this marquis victory against the floppers.

Tianna Hawkins and Alyssa Thomas combined for 47 points and 20 rebounds as No. 7 Maryland continued its dominance of Clemson with a 75-45 victory Thursday night.

Hawkins notched her 12th double-double of the season with 30 points and 12 boards. Thomas added 17 points for the Terrapins, who have won 13 consecutive games against the Tigers. The Terrapins (20-4 overall, 11-2 ACC) clinched their ninth-straight 20-win season.

Melo Trimble
Phil Booth
Dion Wiley
Dwayne Morgan

Pretty impressive list.

Whether those teams are good or not so good the rivalry is intense.  If Duke dropped out of the top … Read More »
