I can’t stress enough how big the commitment from Roddy Peters means to this program. Here was Maryland in an apparent dog eat dog battle with the Evil Empire (Kentucky) and coming in 2nd place. But the program was strong enough to land one of the top 5 point guards in the country and furthermore a DC Assault alum in 6″4 Roddy Peters. Schillo Tshuma and Patrick Mullins each netted goals for Maryland (12-0-1, 5-0-0 ACC). This game was never in doubt although the Terps were held scoreless in the 1st half. The Terps outshot Colgate 17-2 and the game was even more dominant then that. It was virtually an offensive practice for the #1 Terps. Friday night #2 North Carolina comes to Ludwig at 6PM on ESPNU.
The pain only lasted a few days. Turgeon &Co have just landed one of the premier PGs in the nation. Roddy Peters who WANTS and has always wanted to be a Terp will arrive in the fall of 2013. It’s time for #5 to really step up to the … Read More »

Yes, this could be the big news every Terrapin Basketball has been waiting for. Turge and Dalonte Hill had an in home visit with the Suitland PG Monday night.
