ç Can you imagine the stupendous job Commissioner Swofford has done in solidifying the ACC. Adding Syracuse, Pitt and Notre Dame while not losing any team even though other conferences have been trying to plunder FSU, Clemson, and Maryland.
Think about the new ACC Lacrosse Conference—Carolina, Duke, UVA, Maryland, Cuse, and now Notre Dame. Winning the ACC Tournament will be more difficult then winning the NCAA Title.

The Irish will join the ACC in all sports. In football, however they have pledged to play 5 ACC teams and at this point not be part of the Conference. Tremendous work by Swofford and now the speculation begins as to who will be #16. the following is from the ACC.com

Maryland head men’s lacrosse coach John Tillman announced today that Ryan Moran has been promoted to associate head coach/offensive coordinator. A former Terrapin men’s lacrosse All-American, Moran is the program’s first-ever associate head coach and will begin his fifth season on the Maryland sideline this fall, having joined the staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2008.
