Trap game—definition–When undefeated #4 Maryland travels down 95 to UMBC and faces a strong UMBC squad that has experienced 2 brutal losses. The Terps though dominated at the face-off position still led at halftime by a 5-2 margin. After 3 periods the Terps, were up 6-3 but somewhere in the pit of my stomach I knew this game wasn’t over.

Terrell Stoglin earned second team All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors while Nick Faust was voted onto the ACC All-Freshman team in balloting released Monday by the league office. Let the celebration begin at Reitz arena!!!! Yes it was a downright ugly game but who cares, Loyola is going to the NCAA Tournament as it capped a tremendous season with a stellar defensive effort down the stretch.
