I just watched a few holes after I got home and I have concluded that Luke Donald has the sweetest swing in golf today.
Mason Plumlee looked like he was in the wrong league last night as thoroughly dominated the Terrapin bigs finishing with 23 points and 12 rebounds as The Terps hung around until the final 3 minute mark but lost to #3 Duke by 13. Some comments on the night:
The ceremony to name the court after Gary was brief but filled with wild enthusiasm from the crowd. Gary was sincerely touched holding back his emotion in the post press conference. It was … Read More »
“I did something privately for him where I made a tape for him, gave him a toast. They didn’t have anything in the glass so I guess he owes me a drink. But, I love what Gary did for our league, not just for Maryland. He’s a fierce competitor, really one of the outstanding coaches in the history of college basketball, not just in the conference. I think you have to reward his commitment.

Wow, what a week for the Ravens. To a man the defensive stalwarts of the Ravens always have sung the praises of pagano. Good luck Chuck except you know when.
The University of Maryland will honor the legacy of longtime men’s basketball coach Gary Williams on Wednesday, Jan. 25 during pregame ceremonies before the Terrapins face Duke.

He might be worth it for 5 or 6 years but not when he is 35 starting his 7th season. Prince is 28 5’11 and weighs 285 pounds. No thank you—-The O’s were never in the running thankfully.
Minus Shaquille Cleare it seems doubtful to me that Mark Turgeon will ever recruit anyone who can’t fill the bucket from the 3 point line. Marco apparently can— logging 16 threes in his last 4 games for Monroe College. Marco redshirted his first year so he would have 3 years of eligibility left. Never heard of a redshirt JuCO. He is good friends with Kevin Seraphin from the Wizards. Not sure how much of a plus that is.
I am all for giving Randy a chance but is he not Flip’s best buddy, isn’t he a part of the Current disaster—time will tell. What will Randy do different —what could anyone do different. And yet 15000–19000 fans keep coming to the games. Ups for DC –proving it is a great basketball town. Ernie held on to Flip way too long–when Gilbert corrupted the team that should have been it. Where do they go from here?
I just had to verify we lost that game. I still don’t believe it. Just a couple of comments.
I watched the Lee Evans play 25 times. In slow mo it appears maybe he caught the ball but we live in real time. In real time it doesn’t even look close.
Cundiff ran on to the field –had a few moments to take a deep breathe- never had time to tense up–never had time to think about missing–if Harbaugh … Read More »
