This team is loaded. Brenda hasa chance to return to the final four with this group.
Alyssa Thomas 24 points 9 rebounds 3 assists–without question a 1st or 2nd team All American
Laurin Mincy–sophomore runs the point and doesn’t back away from key possessions
Anjale Barrett-provides senior stability at the guard position

Suh receives a 2 game suspension.—He was lucky I would have given him more.
Big 10 won 4 out of 6 games including a thorough shellacking of Duke by Ohio State.—Definitely surprised by Duke’s lacklustre showing.
Joe Vellano follows in his Dad’s footsteps and is named ACC Defensive Tackle. —I agree because I voted for him!!
The Caps lose their first game with new Ciach Dale Hunter.–Ovie where are you?

Some key points in defeat:
The first half intensity was off the charts. There was a feeling that the 2nd could be a letdown and it was.
Stoglin finished with 25 points on 8-17 shooting and 4-9 from the 3 point line.The game was lost on the foul line. Maryland shot 15-25 and the Illini was 18-20.
Padgett finished with 16 points and to me this was the best gane he has ever played at College Park.

Defense is strong –lisping the interior battle but making everything tough for Webers squad
