Just past midnight last night, the PAC12 closed the door to Texas and their Big 12 running mates. The Reason Most likely was Texas’ refusal to share TV revenue from the Longhorn network.
Andy Katz from ESPN steadfastly said that UConn is doing everything in it’s power to join the ACC.

It looks like Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State might be heading to the new PAC 16. The ACC is still talking to Texas but is insisting that Kansas be the partner to come to the ACC. Swofford obviously has Mega Basketball on his mind.

I was listening to Redskin great John Riggins after the Ravens Steelers game and his comment was that Ngata absolutely shuts down an attack up the middle against the Ravens. This was a must signing in an otherwise bleary week for the purple.
Please don’t ever criticize Baltimore sports fans. For an absolutely meaningless hockey game, they filled The First Mariner Arena Tuesday night. Nashville shut out the Caps 2-0.

I really don’t get it. Pitching is the real problem here. Brian Matusz is 1-8 with an era over 10 and still started tonight. Mark Reynolds has been stellar at first.
