The Rosolio family must be in an state of euphoria!!! Texas in the ACC? As there is definitely upheaval in the conference realignment world, perhaps the ACC is now doing the smart thing by being the first to strike. With A&M already leaving the Big 12 and Oklahoma infuriated by the Texas TV network, Swofford might be courting the Longhorns. Adding Texas and probably Texas Tech would simply upgrade the football level of the ACC overnight!!!
Soccer just doesn’t get better then this. Some observations of a thrilling victory by the #1 and undefeated Terrapin squad:
First comment is that Casey Townsend is just a flat out goal scoring machine. Last night he had 3 goals and could have possibly had 6. He is a magician with the ball and I promise you this he will be a USA World Cup player.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The floor of the basketball court at Comcast Center will be named in honor of Gary Williams, former head men’s basketball coach. The dedication will take place in a formal ceremony on December 9, 2011.

Hope this isn’t similar to Todd Heap’s high ankle sprain. In any evernt our first round pick will be out at least a couple of weeks.
Raiders Win 23-20. In the late game Sebastian Janakowski kicked a 63 yard field goal and Darrius Heyward Bey now looks like an NFL receiver. He finished with 4 catches for 45 yards, the last being a game securing 1st down catch with 2 minutes left. Lance ball caught a TD pass from Kyle Orton to close the gap to 3 points. Former Ravens coach Hue Jackson gets his first win as a head coach.

Gilman’s Cyrus Jones said he is “strongly considering Maryland. I like them a lot, so they are still going to get a run.”Jones said he liked the new uniforms, especially the helmets, “though everybody said the helmet was too much. I just like the whole idea of representing Maryland to the fullest. I thought they were a good design. I thought they were nice.”
Sophomore Witmer is clearly developing as the key offensive threat on the team.
Everyone should have a friend like Vinnie Chase. A great series but most say the final season was so so. Turtle, Drama, E and Ari we’ll miss ya. I wonder whay the athletes who appeared were paid. I do know one thingthe golf match between Mark Wahlberg and Drama was pathetic. Wahlberg won the first hole at he Puerto Rican Trump course and shot at least a 10. Drama stopped swinging at 15.
