There was no way Missy’s players would let her down today. After trailing 1-0, the Terps stormed back to score 3 times in the 2nd half. Nicole Muracco and Emma Thomas provided the firepower for the Terps as they move to 12-0.
Senior Emma Thomas dented the nest twice and Katie O’Donnell added a 3rd goal as Alicia Grater put another shut out notch on her record. The Terps as usual outshot their opponent 13-4 with 5 corners. Next up UVA Friday afternnon at 4PM, just hours before Coach Missy Meharg will enter the Maryland Athletic Hall of Fame.

Coach Missy Meharg and her reigning NCAA Champions won their season opener against a strong Ohio squad .All America katie O’Donnell had 1 goal and assisted on 2 goals by Emma Thomas. Fallston High’s Lindsey Puckett saw her first action.
Normally I would let this pass but what is going on? The NCAA Champs are picked 2nd to UVA and a distant 2nd I might add. The best player in the country, Katie O’Donnell returns for the Terps and they are picked 2nd. This will not sit well with Missy Meharg.
