Maryland size wise matches up against Nova.  The Wildcat’s guards are Scottie Reynolds 6’2″, Corey Fisher 6’1″ and Corey Stokes 6’5″.  They have a freshman g 6-1 Maalik Wayns and freshman g Dominic Cheek who is 6-6.  Upfront freshman Isaiah Armwood is 6-7, Antonio Pena is about 6-8 and he’s their best rebounder, Tylor King, a transfer from Duke is 6’6″ and Maurice Sutton is a freshman who is 6-11.  In general Maryland’s guards are bigger though Nova’s guards are much … Read More »

Next year Villanova will probably be a top ten preseason ranked team. Now they will be Maryland’s opponent at the BB&T Classic. Two kids from Montrose are going to Nova next year, Isiah Armwood and Mouphtaou Yarou. The Terps also added a road game at UNC Greensboro. Again Gary realizes the importance of taking on all comers when it comes to NCAA selection.
