This story has been a hot potato all day, but as of 12AM Comcast was scrolling that James Franklin has indeed accepted the Head coaching job at Vanderbilt University. This certainly ends the speculation that has probably been a negative over the past 3 or 4 years about who the head coach will be. Danny O’Brien was sharp as QB w 3 TD passes. His 1st to Matt Furstenburg was a thing of beauty.
Danny turned his ankle but early reports say he should be OK for the Mountaineers.
Jamarr was productive leading 2 TD drives and his passing was much improved.

Currently there are 5 QBs on the roster. #3,4,and 5 did not get much PT but the starter and his backup showed signs of being in command. Terrapintimes.com reported today that Dunbar 4 star linebacker, Javarie Johnson has done an about face and enrolled at Maryland. Kudos on Ralph and James Franklin for the continued pursuit of Javarie. Check out the video on Javarie
It’s a character game game for the Terps. But I believe it’s a great test for QB Jamrr Robinson. I am curious to see if Coach Franklin instituted any option type running this week since Georgia Tech shredded this team when they met. Jamrarr has that capability and combine him with the return or Da’Rel and toss in speedster Caleb Porzel and the game should be interesting, At least it is on real TV –Channel 13 at high noon.
After a great visit this weekend, FB prospect Rashaan Moore from the Wise High School took the plunge and gave Maryland his on Monday according to terrapintimes.com. A James Franklin recruit, it was clear that the 6’2 230 lb kid from Upper Marlboro wanted to become a Terp—the 15th Committment for 2010.
