This is a huge loss for Maryland. The converted Star linebacker has been sorely missed from the lineup. Kenny will apply for a Medical Redshirt as he will be down through April and would thus miss much of the NFL prep camps.

The tough game just got tougher. Andre Monroe  and Darin Drakeford already were missing the game and now for some undisclosed reason Kenny Tate is unlikely to play. Call me crazy but I still think it will be close.

Currently there are 5 QBs on the roster. #3,4,and 5 did not get much PT but the starter and his backup showed signs of being in command. JaMarr Robinson admitted to being nervous at first but he settled down and played well. Unfortunatyely I lost my audio with QB1 Jamarr Robinson. He seems to easily fit the QB1 … Read More »

“A couple guys really stand out right now,” Friedgen said. “Chris Turner – he’s really doing a great job of seeing things, setting the defense, using his cadence, making decisions. I’m very pleased with how he’s playing. Kenny Tate is having a sensational camp. He’s all over the place. He’s intercepting passes, he’s sacking guys. (Defensive coordinator Don) Brown’s got him … Read More »

My guy to watch out for this season, Caleb Porzel sat out practice today. “They think his ACL is fine and he had a sprain of his MCL. Usually that is a week or so depending on how bad it is.” Friedgen said both Porzel and freshman RB D.J. Adams “were impressive” in the scrimmage. Read … Read More »
