According to terrapintimes.com, Terrapin target Mychal Parker will announce his decision soon after the summer season ends. The 6’6 potential small forward lists Maryland as one of his final 5 schools. Check out the youtube video:
Terrapintimes.com reports that Gary, Chuck Driesell and Robert Ehsan are in South Carolina checking out the talent in the Peach Jam Basketball Festival. First and foremost on the watch list is Terrence Jones from the I-5 Club Team in Portland. A good friend of Maryland commit Terrence Ross, Jones’ 2010 stock is rising every day. The National basketball Players Association had its Top 100 camp in Charlottesville this weekend. Many Terrapin recruiting targets were present. The Montrose Christian lad, Terrence Ross who has verbally committed to Maryland for 2010, stole the show yesterday at the Maryland Elite camp according to terrapintimes.com. Ross was clearly the best player on the floor, shooting lights out. Steve Goins played in the scrimmages and looked much improved.
Terrence Ross went 7-13 including 5 dunks as he was named DC MVP in the I-95 Elite Challange Saturday night at St Frances Academy. Will Barton scored 18 and led the Baltimore team to victory.
At 7PM tonight, Terrence Ross, who recently committed verbally to attend Maryland, will join other 2010 hoop stars in an all star game at St Frances Academy on East Chase Street. Several other Maryland targets will be playing in the game including Mychal Parker and Hippolyte Tsafack.
