It is incredible that 1 year has passed since the all too soon death of Terrapin Legend King Corcoran. I promised a year ago that I would continue to keep up the talk about the King. Hard to belive even today the Kingman is gone. I got word NFL Films is still doing a Movie about The King. I know there was another script about Him called “Third Down and Forever” Which he did the treatment on. Miss Ya Big Guy!!!! ESPN aired a 30 Min segment in Jan 2010
I used to hang out with The King, but I knew him more as his alias of Running Wolf in Baltimore, MD. He used to come to my neighborhood gym. We would go out, driven around in his limo, to redneck karaoke bars where he would croon old tunes. Everyone knew him everywhere we went. He was great fun and always telling stories. I helped him out a lot when his luck went down around 2002. I can’t believe I am just hearing about his death over a year later. I always wondered where he disappeared. I just wish he had called me again before he died.
