I have certainly read some great things about Maryland’s new Chief in the past 24 hours. His academic background is incredible. According to a brief interview he had with Keith and terrapintimes.com , it sure seems like he respects the tradition athletics has played in the growth of the University. Should be much more on this in the coming days.

I just went to the press conference, if it was that, seems like a solid guy. I think he’ll leave the AD search up to the AD search committee though. However, I am excited for his presidency to begin.
