8 Reasons Why
1) No manager has ever manipulated the 40 man September 1 roster like Buck has
2) no Wieters, Manny missed a good part of the season, the Chris Davis saga–has not deterred Buck
3) Buck exudes confidence amongst his players
4) manipulation of the bullpen has been incredible Tommy Hunter was demoted as the stopper but has pitched brilliantly since. Very very rare for that to happen. See Jim Johnson.
5) never quit attitude of the team.
6) Always defends his players. Think that has something to do with the chemistry of the team.
7) Utilizes almost every player on the team. Look at what he has gotten out of Ryan Flaherty.
8) never stops praising the fans. Buck really gets how much this team means to the community.
