Here’s Baseball America’s list (with our skinny on each prospect):
1. RHP Dylan Bundy – He was 1-3 with a 3.27 ERA at Short-A Aberdeen and High-A Frederick this year while coming back from elbow surgery. He turns 22 in November.
2. RHP Hunter Harvey – The first-round pick in 2013 was 7-5 with a 3.18 ERA at Low-A Delmarva. The 19-year-old was shut down in July with a flexor mass strain that reportedly is not an issue.
3. 1B Christian Walker – The 23-year-old power prospect hit 20 homers at Double-A Bowie, six more at Triple-A Norfolk and then one in the majors in September.
4. C Chance Sisco – The 2013 second-round pick hit .340 to win the South Atlantic League batting crown as a 19-year-old.
5. OF Dariel Alvarez – The Cuban defector, who turns 26 next month, batted a combined .306 with 15 homers at Bowie and Norfolk.
6. RHP Zach Davies – A 26th rounder in 2011, Davies, 21, was 10-7 with a 3.35 ERA as a 21-year-old at Bowie.
7. LHP Tim Berry – The 50th round pick in 2009 because he was coming off of surgery, Berry, 23, was called up once in 2014 but never pitched. He was 6-7 with a 3.51 ERA at Bowie.
8. RHP Mike Wright – The 24-year-old was eighth on this list last year, too. He struggled some at Norfolk (5-11, 4.61 ERA), but allowed three runs total in his final six starts.
9. OF Mike Yastrzemski – The grandson of Hall of Famer Carl, the 24-year-old batted a combined .288 with 14 homers and 16 triples at three levels; the highest was Bowie.
10. 3B Jomar Reyes – The 17-year-old hit .285 with four homers at Rookie Level Gulf Coast League. His $350,000 bonus was the franchise’s largest for a Dominican amateur.
One other prospects note: Right-hander Parker Bridwell and catcher Michael Ohlman have been named to the Arizona Fall League’s Fall Stars game. They are the only two Orioles prospects who will play in Saturday’s game, which will be broadcast by MLB Network starting at 8:08 p.m.
