Four members of the Big Ten champion Maryland women’s basketball team earned All-Big Ten First and Second Team honors Monday and head coach Brenda Frese was voted Big Ten Coach of the Year for the second time in her career.
As voted on by the conference’s media panel, sophomores Lexie Brown and Shatori Walker-Kimbrough were named to the All-Big Ten First Team, while redshirt senior Laurin Mincy and sophomore Brionna Jones were named to the Second Team. The league’s head coaches named Brown, Walker-Kimbrough and Jones to the First Team and Mincy to the Second Team.
