The 2 semi final NCAA games were yawners. Notre Dame showed it did not belong in the Final Four after being humiliated by Clemson 30-3. Oklahoma faired better but really was never in the game against Bama, losing 45-34 after trailing 28 zip. Trevor Lawrence vs Tua in the title game hopefully will be a classic. The lowlight of the Alabama game was the typical Saban temper tantrum.
Caps won again 3-2 at Ottawa and now are 16-3 in their last 19 games.
John Wall is out for the year with a heel injury.
Michigan lost again to a decent team and that is being kind. Florida won 41-15. Jim Harbaugh’s record against top 10 teams at Michigan is now 1-8.
Not a great day for the Spurs in the Premier League. Wolverhampton upset Tottenham 3-1 at Wembley while Liverpool continued its winning ways and now lead the Spurs by 9 points. Harry Kane scored the goal for Tottenham.
Amanda Nunes KO’ed Cris Cyborg in 51 seconds dealing the undefeated Brazilian her 1st knockout loss. Jon Jones won by TKO in the 3rd round thus regaining his Light Heavyweight Title.
