Mora’s 2 Run Double Leads O’s to Victory—Vasquez has Successful Ankle Surgery—Celtics Win 17th NBA Championship

The comeback kids were at it again last night winning their 20th come from behind victory 6-5 vs the Astros, behind Melvin Mora’s 2 run double in the 8th.  The game marked the return of Miquel Tejada to Camden Yards.

Maryland guard Greivis Vasquez had successful surgery on his left ankle today to remove a bone spur and articular cartilage, according to a Maryland news release. He should miss about 2 months of summer ball.

Much to my surprise the Boston Celtics behind their 3 superstars completed an annihilating 6 game victory over the LA Lakers.  Paul Pierce was named series MVP.  Interesting note—the Wizards were 3-0 against the Celtics this year.
