     Graham Zusi scored early and led Maryland’s soccer team to a 1-0 win over BC last Friday.  Next up: Friday night vs Duke at Maryland.

     Lady Terps (Soccer) drop 1-0 decision to William and Mary, fall to 3-3 and 1 tie.  Next up Mt St Mary’s at Ludwig field on Sunday.

     Maryland’s Alex Lundy was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week.

     Kickoff for the University of Maryland’s football game at Clemson on Saturday, Sept. 27 has been set for noon with the contest being telecast regionally on Raycom Sports.

      Freshman Jessica Hollandsworth fired a 1-over-par 73 and moved up the leader board Monday in the second round of the Cougar Classic women’s golf tournament being hosted by the College of Charleston. As a team, Maryland fired a 308 in the second round to finish the day in 17th place with a 611 total. The Terps were only 10 shots out of 11th in a tightly packed group in the middle of the 22-team field.

     The Maryland men’s tennis team closed out its stay at the Navy Invitational in impressive fashion Sunday by winning 11 of 12 singles and doubles matches against the Midshipmen in the non-team scored event.Andrew Orban and David Kwon led the charge by winning at No. 1 and 2 singles, respectively.
