The real question surrounding the latest Raven verbal outbursts is how will it effect team play on Sunday. We still don’t know why #21 was benched although my speculation is the way he was torched by Marvin Harrison led to his benching but I guess that is too obvious. Yesterday news broke about Suggs preferring Troy Smith over Flacco. It just seems an unusual time to be stating this as Troy Smith is barely ready to play and Coach Harbaugh announced Flacco was the QB for 2008. After #55’s comments on Hines Ward being the next bounty victim, the December 14 game against the Steelers has taken on a new meaning. Let’s hope the team can put these controversies aside and beat Oakland on Sunday. if all this talk is disconcerting to the fans, just remember the trash talking World Champion Ravens!! At least there is some life in this team.
